I’ve been writing all my life, for fun and for a living, but this is my first step away from the printed page and into the infinite spaces of the Internet.

My children, talented and beautiful, and both, as it turns out, more fluent and natural writers than their old Dad, have encouraged me (possibly just to demonstrate there’s yet another thing they can do better than I can).

But I’m in now, and there’s no going back. Expect the odd rant, the usual bursts of irritation that the older member of society feels when faced with the realisation that the younger world is going its own way without listening to me, but mainly the pleasures of having survived to be this old.

Stand by, cyberspace.
